The house is surrounded by vineyards, set in the hillside with stunning views overlooking the Russian River Valley. It is made up of two parts, a single story 80-foot long main house and a more compact two story guest apartment and garage arranged in an ‘L’ plan. The main house faces due south with a hipped roof aligned east/west, maximizing natural light and allowing for a large photovoltaic area on the roof. Its walls are 18″ deep and constructed of PISE —a sprayed earth & cement mixture. The house will feature exposed reclaimed timber roof trusses in the open living area.
